[  006  ]  :  growing up, louis had always felt alone. she was isolated from the rest of the world, with no one to turn to for companionship. she spent her days in dark rooms with minimal lights, only ever hearing the hum of electricity. being a hero now, is all about the contrast of a past life he never got to live. a life full of light, and companionship.

louis grew up having never been to school or played with other children. he had never even been outside of the series of dingy, poorly-lit workshops where he spent every waking hour. for a long time, louis only knew the familiar smells of machinery and gasoline. louis' father was a good man, always bringing him food and telling him all about the nice things the outside world had to offer, he was the first person to introduce him to the idea of invention and her love for building. making these mechanical inventions was a passion her father was always very proud of her for, something that they could both share interest in. so when louis' father asked for specific things, certain machines, louis could never say no. she loved it, she loved making it, she loved the praise she would get for it. the long hours alone were all worth it. even when those inventions would "disappear", she would mourn for the lost work she had put in silently, never cry or show how upset it might've made him depending on how long it took.all she did was celebrate. appreciate the extra time she got with his father. the smiles and happy faces he'd put on for her. it didn't matter if it hurt, because louis' father was a good man.louis never really did mind how alone she was, or at least never complained about it. as long as she kept working on her projects and had her father around to tell her more about the forbidden world that he barely knew. he knew someday he would get to explore it himself, that he'd see the sun in its complete glory that wasn't obstructed by stained windows and dirty curtains.

unknown to louis, his father had always been a selfish man, more concerned with his own ambitions than the well-being of his family. he worked for a secret organization, doing their dirty work and carrying out their shady dealings. he was manipulative and cunning, always looking for ways to further his own interests but his greatest betrayal came when he turned on his own child. everything changed when louis discovered his talent for engineering. a fascination for machines and gadgets, he spent every spare moment tinkering and building. his father saw her potential and began to use it to his advantage, stealing louis' inventions and giving them to the organization in exchange for favours and rewards. of course, isolation was the key to keeping this back and forth alive, but being discreet was the mission.so, he smiled and fed into louis' empty dreams and aspirations. in the end, he needed his child here. he needed the work to be done, no matter how dangerous.who would stop him anyway? the only person he truly answered to was the organization.

although firm in the notion of isolation, one day, something changed in louis' father. he seemed to soften, telling louis he had been depriving him of the chance to live his own life and made a decision: he would let louis out into the world, and he would show him all of the wonders and mysteries that it had to offer.of course, louis was overjoyed. she couldn't believe that his father was letting him go see what he had longed for her entire life, that he was trusting him to explore and learn on his own. she was grateful and excited, eager to make the most of this opportunity.very quickly, louis found an apartment with a roommate and he was more than ecstatic at the new life she'd get to live.however, this decision his father made was not out of the good will of his heart. what the organization now has planned for louis and his newfound roommate, is up to them to find out.
